OK! I love this game and am honored to be the Dawn Staley of book hating (I just anointed myself with that title). Both JAMES and MARTYR! are on my list for enthusiastic yeses. Some just no's for me so far this year...WHATCH WHERE THEY HIDE and TO NAME A BIGGER LIE.

Oooh love these takes. I am really intrigued by the Bullet Swallower.

It’s one of my top for the year. Described as a mix of Cormac McCarthy and Gabriel Garcia Marquez! Western, magical realism, confronting racism in western stories.

I realize you read Come & Get It early, at the end of 2023, but honestly - could have listed as a reread here, told non-sequentially and with slight typos BUT with BONUS commentary.

This is a fun way to rate books! I love seeing these early positive reviews of The Pairing (you're lucky you already got to read it). I'm a big McQuiston fan, I think they're my gateway to reading more romance, and can't wait to read this one. James is also quickly moving up my TBR list.

My YES book of the year is Dixon Descending. I’m a total evangelist for this book.

I’m not gonna lie. I’m really excited to check out Sandwich. James and martyr were the first two books on my must read TBR so I love when I hear an unknown title.
